offer transport cost

  • You have successfully sent 50 Garden houses to benesu KG at 20000 as unit price (Total: 1.000.000).
As soon as the company accepts the delivery, the money (1.000.000) will be send to you.
    120.000 were due for transport.

    12%? Shouldn't it be 5%?

  • Taken from the help link:

How i can offer my goods to other players or send these to the market place?
All goods in your warehouse can to be on offer to other players or the public market place. Go to your warehouse and click the button "forward". Now you can set the desired amount, the price per unit and the recipient. If you want to offer your goods on the public market place, so the recipient must be "market".

Once you have confirmed your petitions, the goods will be instantly shown on the market place. All other players can now buy your goods. If you want to send your goods to another player you must set the firm name as recipient (without the legal form) instead of "market".

Attention should be paid to the transport costs. Transports to the market costs 8% conditioned by the total value. On delivery to other players the transport costs amounting to 5% of the total value.

  • Then this seems to be a mistake in the help funktion.

In the german manual it says 12%, so you have to calculate with this value.

Anyway, if it would be 5%, nobody would sell anything on the market.

  • Wow, we should update this document, because its outdated :D
    Something we've forgotten ;)

The transport costs have changed since V1.3b.

    They aren't fix now.

Here the calculation of transport costs:

    Sending to marketplace:
    0-50 pieces: 8%
    51-250 pieces: 9%
    251-500 pieces 10%
For every additional 100 pieces above the first 500 the transport costs will increase by 1%

    Sending to other players:
    0-100 pieces: 12%
For every additional 100 pieces above the first 100 the transport costs will increase by 1%.

Hope this should help you to calculate your costs.
