Though complementaries is misspelled, it still seems awkward either way. Maybe that's British English? Here nobody would use complementary in that sense, but as I said, it could just be where i live.

This is a German game, translated into English by German volunteer... so it happens. I apologize for the inconveniences, but I think you could understand them. Please bare with it for the moment.
Oh, I didn't mean for it to be criticizing the grammar. This site does a better job at it than most naturally English-speaking do. Was just trying to be helpful
Suggestions on how to improve the english version of IT are always most welcome, so thanks for that.
IT will never be typo- nor mistake-free in any language version, english language issues just take longer until someone actually fixes them:)
