    you might have slightly misunderstood the concept of research in this game...


    -you can go through reseach levels which mean inventions of new products


    in order to invent new products you just have to research level after level... recorder comes in level 10.. researching those levels is recommended for every player who feels able to.


    -you can do quality research in the research buildings which improve the quality and selling price of your products.


    for quality research you need a research building; it is a very expensive investion and very expensive to uphold hence only recommended for experienced and rich players




    If you have actually researched recorder you can build it in a music instrument factory and sell it in a music store.

    i understand how it works. but i can produce them. i only wanted to upgrade the quality. i builded a research centre and upgraded it to level 2. but it still wasn´t possible to research the quality of the recorder..
    do i need a level 3 research facility or something??
