QL of products?

  • Hey, I thought QL of a product was:
(average Raw QL + Product Ql)/2

I have Leather Chair and Garden house QLs that have result ql less than half the product QL.
    ex:
Leather chair (QL 10) results in ql 3 leather chair (with 0 lumber and leather.
Garden houses (QL 5) but only level 1 in product warehouse.

    Is there something wrong?

  • The final QL is the average of all contributing QLs, rounded down.

So for Knitting Needles (requires 1 plastic) it's QL = rounddown( average(QL KN, QL plastic),0)
    For Keyboard QL = rounddown(average(QL KB,QL plastic, QL plastic),0)
For Motor Car, QL = rounddown(average(QL car,QL engine, QL tires, QL car body),0)

So if you research knitting needles to 100, and use QL 0 plastic you'll make QL 50 needles
If you have QL 100 for Keyboard and use QL 0 plastic you'll make QL 33 keyboards.
If you have QL 100 motor car and use QL 0 materials, you'll get QL 25 cars.

  • And your QL can just be as high as your finished product is.

Keyboards at QL 30 can be never higher than 30, instead of using plastic at QL 100 for example.
